R&D IN U.S. VETERINARY PRACTICE

Under U.S. tax regulations, many veterinary practices conduct activities that meet the criteria for Research & Development (R&D) tax credits. These activities are not limited to traditional research settings but include efforts to eliminate technical uncertainty and improve the functionality, performance, or reliability of clinical processes.

Examples include clinical audits that drive measurable improvements, in-house development of solutions for complex or atypical cases, and the evaluation, implementation, or refinement of new technologies and medical techniques.

R&D tax credits at the federal, and in many cases state level are intended to incentivize and reward the time and resources dedicated by veterinary teams to these innovation driven efforts.

HOW IT WORKS

FEASIBILITY CALLS

This initial consultation is provided at no cost to your practice. It typically takes less than an hour, and can be conducted either virtually or in person.

TECHNICAL MEETINGS

In a focused one hour session held virtually or in person, we further analyze your qualifying activities to capture the full scope of your R&D efforts.
